Information we collect

When you create an account, we may collect your email address, display name, account preferences, and authentication-related information.

If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google to create and secure your account, such as your name, email address, and profile picture (if available). Google processes this sign-in according to Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive your Google account password.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we store subscription status and billing identifiers needed to manage access to paid features. We do not store your full payment card details.

We may also collect product usage information, such as when you open the generator, create a worksheet, start checkout, or download a PDF. If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message.

We may collect basic technical information, such as device, browser, IP address, log data, and approximate location, to help operate, secure, and improve the service.

Accounts

Math Mystery Picture is intended for adult educational users. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to create an account.

You may create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google if you choose. If you use the same email address for both methods, your sign-in options may be linked to one account. You must accept our Terms of Service before downloading worksheets or using paid features.

You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for using the service in accordance with our Terms of Service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Math Mystery Picture, including to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide access to the worksheet generator and downloads
• Manage subscriptions and paid feature access
• Respond to support requests or contact form messages
• Send account-related, billing, or service emails
• Understand how users interact with the product
• Improve worksheets, features, and user experience
• Protect against fraud, misuse, security issues, or technical problems

Student information

Math Mystery Picture is designed for teachers, homeschool families, tutors, parents, and other adult educational users. The service does not require student accounts, student names, student email addresses, or student login information.

Please do not enter personal information about students or children into worksheet titles, custom text fields, contact forms, or other parts of the service.

If you believe student or child personal information has been submitted to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card or payment card details.

Stripe may collect and process payment information, billing details, and transaction data according to its own privacy policy and terms. We store subscription status, plan information, and billing identifiers needed to manage your account access.

Cookies & tracking

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, manage account access, secure the service, and understand product usage (including Google Analytics).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the service may not work correctly if required cookies are disabled.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the service, including:

• Supabase for authentication and database hosting
• Google for optional Sign in with Google authentication
• Google Analytics for website traffic and product usage analytics
• Vercel for website hosting and infrastructure
• Stripe for payments and subscription management
• Resend or similar email providers for transactional and support emails

These providers may process information on our behalf according to their own privacy policies and data protection practices.

Data protection

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

You are responsible for keeping your account login information secure and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your choices and rights

You may update certain account information from your account settings.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. We may need to keep limited information where required for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.

You may cancel your subscription from your account page. Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or all associated records.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, manage accounts and subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and maintain business records.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information where appropriate, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, billing, security, or compliance reasons.

Children's privacy

Math Mystery Picture is intended for adult educational users and is not directed to children creating their own accounts.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we learn that a child or minor has created an account or provided personal information without appropriate parent or guardian consent, we may delete the information and close the account.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International users

If you access Math Mystery Picture from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.
